What do R, A, C and I mean?
A RACI matrix assigns roles to every task in a project. It makes clear who does something, who answers for it in the end and who is only involved. That prevents duplicate work and gaps in decisions.

Frequently asked questions
Can a task have more than one A?
No. Exactly one role is accountable. Several As mean nobody feels responsible, which is why the tool warns.
Can the same role be R and A?
Yes, that is common for small tasks. In the matrix you set A, because the accountable role includes doing the work.
How do I get the matrix into PowerPoint?
Either export it as PNG and insert it, or choose “Copy as table” and paste it into PowerPoint or Word; the colours are kept.
Is the tool really free?

Is my data stored?
Only locally in your browser, so your work is still there next time. Nothing is sent to our servers. “Share link” puts your state into the link’s address; anyone who gets the link can see it.
